I saw Transformer 2 today and it was good.

The CGI and Action sequences were well done but there were almost too many "In Your Face" shots. They should on some scenes pulled back a little, but it wasn't as bad as Spiderman. The acting was on the mark thou some of the one liners were taken from other movies alone with a couple of scenes, that were recycled from the first movie.

As for the plot...this is where it gets hairy...

Some of the people who gave their reviews, said the plot was weak or no plot at all.

Let me tell you, there was a plot to the story and it was written well. If you have read Tek Wars, Harry Potter and some of the Star Wars novels (the one showing what happened after The Battle of Endor). You would have seen that the small plots and sub-plots, lead into the main plot of the story. The dog humping scenes should have been left, the first two. It would have not hurt the movie at all. Plus those were two Male dogs. Considering there were small children in the audience when I went today.

Best overall new characters I like was Jet Stream (SR-71) and the Twins (first an Ice Cream Truck then later the little Chevy cars)

So I give this a 4 out of 5 rating.

If you haven't seen it yet you should...just go to the early showing where it's cheaper.
